OECD looks ahead

A new OECD report looks at the rest of the century, and offers an interesting balance of optimism with concern.

I can’t find the report, but the Ars summary sounds reasonable.  Environmental pressures are ramping up, with major impacts felt on global urban centers.  OECD countries are aging, and BRICs will as well; it’s in the developing world where the next child boom will come.

I’m surprised at what seems like a rosy energy picture, and would like to dig into their research.
